The President gave an extrordinary speech in Cairo that was broadcast pretty much to the Muslim world. He was there obviously to repair the 8 years damage done by Bush, Chaney & co. and present America's dedication to forging a new and peaceful relationship with the Islamic world. When he used the Islamic word for peace, the crowd applauded and they would continue to throughout his 55 minute speech.
I love that this man is President of the United States. When I see him in his element I am heartened that he will eventually accomplish all of the goals he set for himself as President.
