In the face of mounting criticism from thousands of constituants and their own misgivings, the House rejected the $700 billion bailout bill that was first proposed last week. Dow Jones then plunged 800 points which is basically a record. Well, I personally am glad that it went down, I have hopes(Or is it dreams?) that a more sensible bill, one that protects consumers and homeowners will be passed. If not, maybe Wall Street should be left on its own to suffer.
