I watched Michelle Obama deliver her speech at the Democratic National Convention last night actually mesmerized. I initially was not expecting anything and turned on the television to see Senator Kennedy's speech (Which was powerful in its own right) and looked up from my reading to see that it was her time to speak.
The film about Michelle which came before her speech, narrated by her mother. After that her older brother spoke and then introduced her. She was poised, calm, cool and collected in her speech. I believe that she sucessfully presented her case for her husband to be president top those swing states and voters who were not sure of where he stood. Just amazing and I am not afraid to admit that I was choked up a bit.
Don't let the pundits fool you: the first night of the convention was a success. You just have to be careful of what channel you are looking at it from. Now the Democrats need to capitalize on this and increase their chances for victory.

I could not agree with you more. She is a Phenomenal woman, I could not have been more proud than to have her represent the face of Black women.
