OBAMA DOES IT: WINS IN NORTH CAROLINA AND BARELY MISSES IN INDIANA

A decisive win in North Carolina and a narrow loss in Indiana point to an overall victory for Barack Obama. He needs 184 delegates to win the nomination and his strong showing in Indiana in light of the Rev. Wright controversy shows his ability to withstand and come back strong. Many have pointed out that Hillary Clinton is running out of money and time. She just loaned herself another $6.4 million in a campaign that is increasingly losing steam.

I think it is time to look forward to the election in November and to focus all energies to the defeat of John McCain. Obama did just that in his speech to his supporters last night. The primaries are over in everything but the announcement of Clinton's withdrawal from the race. That by the way is coming sooner than you think.

So I give my props to the good Senator Obama. Now the real battle can begin against "Insane in the Membrane" McCain.
