As terrible as the news has been concerning the recent natural disasters in Myanmar and China, we must never forget about the victims of the worst natural disaster in the history of this country. The years have passed but there are thousands of people who remain exiled from their homes in Louisiana and the area of the Ninth Ward still looks like the flooding hit yesterday.
To make things worse there is this article I came across on Yahoo that gives the grim news that children who lived in those hell holes known as FEMA trailers, may face lifelong ailments as a result of the chemicals that were inside of them.
I have to go and look up and investigate the charities that are actually aiding those who have been victimized by ineptitude and cruelty of FEMA and others. Groups like Habitat for Humanity and others because I feel that we must give and help ourselves before we look to do the same for other countries. We must never forget what happened during the Katrina nightmare in 2005 all the way to the present day.

Its amazing you can earn multiple degrees, have a kid and send them off to kindergarten and Hurricane Katrina is still slowly continuing on.
