Today marks the 43rd anniversary of the assassination of Malcolm X. On that fateful day in 1965, our warrior, our Brother Malcolm was killed in front of speakers (Including his wife and children) as he prepared to give a speech at the Audibon Ballroom in Harlem.
However, his body may be gone, but his spirit and message live on and continues to be an inspiration to countless others. That includes this humble writer. We must never forget Brother Malcolm or his wife Sister Betty who is also no longer with us. We must never forget the sacrifices they made so that we could progress forward.
